FOTD. Subtle summery bronze X

Hey girlies! Today I wanted to try something a bit different with my makeup as summer is nearly here. So I ditched my matt eyeshadows and blush, opting for a bronzey shimmery look! Let me know what you think, and what look you were rocking today:

First of all I used concealer and foundation by Natural Collection, and I absolutely love them. They are super cheap but I love the coverage and finish it gives. Not at all drying, flaking or oily! Perfect for any combination skin types out there, like me. I use the fairest one they make which is actually a tiny bit dark if I'm not wearing any fake tan.

Next, I used the following products on my eyes:

I primed my eyelids with urban decay primer potion, then sweeped L'Oreal Chrome Shine shadow in Golden Rose all over the lid and up to the brow. I then took Benefit Gilded and lined my lid quite thickly, then blended that just on the lid and lined under my eyes with it. Next I just lined my top lid with L'Oreals black super liner, which I swear by! Lastly I used L'Oreal double extend mascara on my upper and lower lashes.

For my cheeks:

I contoured with St Tropez bronser, and then used my nat. collection blusher (not sure of the exact colour!), then highlighted / gave my cheeks a summery sheen with Mac's pigment in Rose. (ITs so gorgeous I feel I will be reaching for it a lot this summer)!

Next for my lips:

I always have really dry lips so I constantly have to apply lip balm of some kind, and always do before I put any lipstik on. So today I used softlips; flavour, Vanilla, smells lovely! Then Revlon lipstick in 001 Nude Attitude. Finally I sweeped a couple coats of No7 High Shine spf gloss in Smile, which I got as part of a gift set.

So that was my natural / shimmery face today! How about you girls??
Thanks for reading!

Coveted Item of the week 3

Hello girlies! this is my coveted item of the week. Now I know everyone knows all about this product, and some of you probably own it? But! I am in love with the Mac to the Beach Marine Life pressed powder. Its so divine! However its sold out most places and also quite pricey!

So gorgeous perfect as a summery shimmery highlighter blush. Adore it!

Any of you girls own any of the new collection?

Kiss Nails Review and pics

Hi girlies! In my recent haul post you may have noticed that I bought a pack of stick on nails by Kiss from boots, costing around £5. I was so excited to try them out as I have short nails and wanted to wear them for an event I was going to.
The first thing I noticed about the nails was that although there were lots of different sizes, most of them were awkward fits for my real nails, so before I could glue them on I had to file down the sides to make them smaller. That didn't really take too long, so I'm not complaining too much!
Next I literally just put the glue onto the fake nail then pressed it onto my real nail holding it in place for about 6 seconds. To finish I just filed them down as I felt they were a bit long and sharp at the corners, then I painted them with two layers of O.P.I polish in Coney Island Cotton Candy, and I was really pleased with the overall result.

One of the nails fell off during the evening, but it was fine! Luckily I had the glue with me so it was so quick and easy to glue it back on.

So today I got bored and repainted the falsies with my new Nails Inc Polish that I got with the coca colas from Boots in the shade 'London'. I absolutely love this colour, it looks great on long nails.

I bought Marie Claire magazine today and got a free Body Shop butter with it. The one I get is called Love Etc, but I wouldnt reccommend getting that flavour as it smells awful! I should have got the coconut one!

What have you girls been upto? xxx
